Restraint systems are mainly placed along the road or in the central reservation of a road in order to guide errant vehicles. They can be made of steel, prefabricated concrete or in-situ concrete.

The installations are tested and the correct installation is described in an impact test report. Correct installation is essential for proper functioning and the safety of road users. For this reason, execution certification was chosen here as well.

The first applications for an execution certificate were already submitted in 2021. We therefore expect the first certificates to be issued in 2023.

Execution certification can be applied by a contractor or executor of the relevant execution.
