Expertise from various angles

The expertise within COPRO originates in its organisation, enriches itself through its partners and the corresponding cooperation platforms, and crystallises in its activities such as standardisation, certification and inspection.

Organisation

COPRO is an impartial organism and a non-profit-making organization. 

Partners

In order to function as a certification body, COPRO needs to involve many parties in this process.

Cooperation platform

As an impartial certification body, COPRO works in a neutral and independent manner and thus fulfils its role as a cooperation platform.

Standardisation

Standardisation is the process of arriving at a standard. The Bureau for Standardisation (NBN) is responsible for developing and publishing standards in Belgium.

COPRO is recognised as a sectoral operator and is thus at the forefront of national standards.

COPRO is the manager and owner of several quality marks:

COPRO

The COPRO brand (COntrol of PROducts) is a collective brand of which COPRO is the title holder. It was created as a quality mark for those products for which there was no Belgian standard and where there was nevertheless a demand from the sector for a certified product.

COPRO.EXE

The COPRO.EXE-merk is a a voluntary collective mark of which COPRO is the owner, and confirms the trust in the execution of the works (EXEcute). 

System certification: Ecological and technical-natural construction (NTMB)

Working according to the principles of ecological and technical-natural construction (NTMB) means thinking about how to meet building requirements with materials that offer opportunities for nature development.
