COPRO launches new platform for tar-containing asphalt

The disposal of tar-containing asphalt is guaranteed by execution certification. As an impartial institution with non-profit status, COPRO manages the follow-up and certification for the disposal and thermal cleaning of tar-containing asphalt.

According to the Flemish government's Standard Specifications 250, tar-containing asphalt must be disposed of via a certified intermediate storage site. COPRO has created a new application to manage the assignment, management and communication of such assignments: Digitar. This application is available through the MyCOPRO platform.

The client should take the initiative for the disposal of tar-containing asphalt for thermal cleaning. COPRO has created a digital roadmap to clarify the whole process and facilitate the request for freight vouchers.
The contractor ensures the proper removal and transportation of the tar-containing asphalt from the site. Here too, there are a number of steps to follow.
